Daileen Resendez, a teenager was arrested on Wednesday, May 1st for assaulting her mother.
A Starr County Sherif’s deputy responded to a complaint around 7:36am in regards to an assault. The victim explained that the offender who attends Roma ISD had left on the bus for school. With the bus number identified the deputy stopped the bus and asked Resendez to follow him into an unmarked unit. He then drove the teenager back to the home. Her mother explained that that morning the pair had argued when Daileen failed to pay attention to her. She complained about her daughter’s behavior and Daileen became aggressive. According to the complaint she grabbed her mother’s left arm and shoved her around the room. Daileen let her go when her mother asked her and shortly after left for school. The mother called to file a report for future documentation but did not wish to file criminal charges.
The teenager was transported to the Starr County Jail but was released on a $2,000 bond set by Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Roel “Role” Valadez.
